You WILL Be Tested So STUDY!

Introduction

God will test you—this is a truth abundantly supported by Scripture. From being tested by fire to passing through the furnace, fire is a potent purifier. As stated in 1 Corinthians 3:13, "Their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work." Unfortunately, many of us are filled to the brim with mere tinder, bound to be consumed in the furnace, rather than with the Word of God, which is indestructible.

The Inevitability of Divine Testing:

The reality is stark; we face tests that we must not be unprepared for. Most of us already possess the answers to these tests within our homes: The Holy Bible. Everything the Lord will test us on is contained in this sacred book. Yet, for various reasons, we neglect to study it. It's as though we trust that the Lord will forgive us for not seeking His face and engaging with His Word. This mindset is flawed because willfully ignoring the path to salvation undermines the very purpose of God's sacrifice—providing us the answers we need.

A Wake-Up Call:

My motivation to write this blog was sparked by a startling revelation. When I asked my brothers if they were regularly reading the Word, the responses were disheartening. Brothers, there is only one path—the Lord’s way. Please stop assuming that you will get a pass for bypassing time with the Lord because you will not. Trouble is inevitable, and if you are equipped with the answers found in the Scriptures, you will find salvation. However, without this knowledge, do not expect to be saved. This is my sincere wish for every one of God’s children.

A Proverb to Remember: Proverbs 22:3 offers wisdom that resonates deeply with this message: “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.”

Conclusion

Let this be a call to action. Dive into the Bible, study its teachings, and arm yourself with knowledge. In times of testing, these words will be your refuge and strength. Do not wait until it is too late—start today to prepare for the tests tomorrow.
