Introduction: The Death of Scrolling and the Living Scrolls

Our theme, "The Death of Scrolling and the Living Scrolls," emphasizes a profound shift away from the digital distractions that dominate our modern lives. As we often find ourselves lost in aimless scrolling—sinking hours into social media feeds and YouTube rabbit holes—we miss out on valuable opportunities for spiritual growth and community building.

During this meeting, we will introduce a transformative practice: replacing the time we often waste on digital platforms with engaging in the life-giving wisdom of the Scriptures and contributing to our virtual community.

This initiative is not merely about abstaining from digital consumption; it's about actively replacing it with activities that nourish our souls and strengthen our bonds within the Body of Christ.

Virtual Baptism: A New Way to Connect

We are excited to introduce the concept of "Virtual Baptism," which involves immersing ourselves into our newly enhanced digital community tools. This baptism is about committing to use these platforms to foster deeper connections and continuous spiritual growth. Instead of venturing alone into the depths of the internet, we encourage each brother to dive into our community's resources and share insights from their scriptural studies, enriching themselves and others.

By turning away from solo scrolling and engaging with our community, you invest your precious time in building the Kingdom of God and partaking in the spiritual nourishment provided by our collective fellowship.

Weekly Programming for Continuous Engagement

Our commitment to replacing solitary digital habits with communal spiritual engagement is supported by our structured weekly programming:

  • Tuesday: General Body of Christ Meeting – Gather to discuss community updates, share testimonies, and engage in collective planning.

  • Wednesday: New Jerusalem Initiative – Participate in projects and activities that drive our community's physical and spiritual renewal.

  • Thursday: Bible Study – Deepen your understanding of the Scriptures with our weekly sessions, culminating in a monthly fellowship summit.

Each of these gatherings is designed to provide continuous support and growth opportunities for every member of our community.

Conclusion and Call to Action

Join us on April 23rd to make a personal and collective commitment to spiritual growth and community engagement. Let’s turn away from the digital chaos and embrace the spiritual clarity that comes from living according to God’s Word.

We look forward to seeing you at the General Body of Christ Meeting. Let's come together to learn, grow, and be transformed.
